Hi, I'm Anika.

I've been baking for friends and family for as long as I can remember, and somewhere along the way the requests got too many to keep up with by word of mouth. So here we are.

Everything on this site is made by me, from scratch, in small batches. I use real butter, real vanilla bean, and good chocolate, and I bake for your date rather than ahead of it. If it's not something I'd be proud to put on my own table, it doesn't go in the box.

And the menu is only where I start — I bake per request. If what you're craving isn't listed, ask for it anyway. Some of my favorite bakes began as someone else's idea.

When I'm not in the kitchen I write historical fiction, and once a month a few of us gather here to talk about books over something warm — you can read about both on the Books page.
